Book a timed visit to the Catacombs#
The official booking system opens tickets 7 days in advance and asks visitors to reserve a timed ticket online. Start there if your date is flexible; a missing slot is not a reason to buy an audio product that supplies no admission.

Official admission and reseller prices#
Official full-rate admission is €31, the reduced rate is €25 and the child rate for ages 8 to 17 is €15; these categories include an audio guide. Children under 8 enter free. Compare eligibility before paying a reseller’s separate total.

Is this visit suitable for you?#
There are 131 steps down and 112 back up. The underground route is not accessible to wheelchair users or visitors who need step-free access. Decide whether those stairs suit everyone in your group before making a non-flexible plan.
Allow around an hour for the 1.5 km circuit. The average temperature is 14°C and the tunnels can be humid, so comfortable shoes and a warm layer are more useful than planning the visit like an outdoor summer walk.
Does an audio guide include entry?#

Plan your visit#
