Doge’s Palace ticketsone museum, four ways in

The Doge’s Palace is sold as part of a wider St Mark’s Square ticket, as guided tours, and inside a six-month museum pass. The official MUVE page prices them side by side — this page keeps the conditions next to each price so the cheaper option is actually the one that fits your day.

First understand what the ticket covers#

The St Mark’s Square Museums ticket is a single admission covering the Doge’s Palace, the Correr Museum, the National Archaeological Museum and the monumental rooms of the Marciana National Library. The MUVE App audio guide is included in the ticket price, so an audio guide is not a separate purchase to compare.

No time slot? Enter from 12:00#

Holders of a St Mark’s Square Museums ticket without a specific entry time slot are admitted to the Doge’s Palace from 12:00 onwards, per the operator’s announcement. If you want the morning, book the timed option; if you are happy after midday, the unticked ticket still works. On guided tours, a delay of more than 15 minutes means exclusion from the group, and after-hours visits are possible only by request at least five working days in advance.

Reduced categories and opening hours#

Reduced rates cover children aged 6–14, students aged 15–25, visitors over 65, Rolling Venice and ISIC holders, with a school offer at EUR 5.50 for accompanied school groups from 1 September to 15 March; the school must provide a list of names. Bring the document that proves the category — the reduced ticket is checked on those terms. Opening hours split by season: 1 April to 31 October, 09:00–19:00 with last admission at 18:00; 1 November to 31 March, 09:00–18:00 with last admission at 17:00.

When the Museum Pass makes sense#

The Museum Pass covers one admission to each included museum over six months, including the Glass Museum in Murano and the Lace Museum in Burano. Compare its price with the individual admissions for the museums you actually plan to visit. The Clock Tower is excluded and requires a separate booking.

When does the online discount apply?

The online rate of EUR 30 is reserved to purchases made at least 30 days before the visit date. Inside that window the standard rate applies.

Is the Secret Itineraries tour a separate ticket?

Yes. It is a guided tour at EUR 40 (EUR 20 reduced) that also includes unguided access to the four museums — the same access structure as the Doge’s Hidden Treasures tour.

Is the audio guide included?

Yes. The MUVE App audioguide is included in the ticket price and needs no separate purchase.

Does the Museum Pass include the Clock Tower?

No. The Clock Tower is explicitly excluded from the pass and must be booked separately.
