Paris Catacombs tickets sold out? What still works
Check the official calendar for your date, then compare another visit time with a different Paris outing. Here are the ticket prices, opening hours and practical options for keeping your day on track.

Work the official release calendar first#
Start with the official Catacombs booking page. Check the actual date and available times rather than treating a missing slot as proof that every booking option is exhausted. Read the Paris Catacombs ticket guide for the visit and booking rules.
Official prices and opening hours#
| Rate | Price |
|---|---|
| Full | EUR 31 |
| Reduced | EUR 25 |
| Children 8–17 | EUR 15 |
| Children 0–7 | Free |
The audio guide is included in the ticket. The site opens Tuesday to Sunday, 9:45–20:30, with last admission at 19:30; it is closed on Mondays. Address: 1 av. du Colonel Henri Rol-Tanguy, 75014 Paris.
The exhibition under the surface#
A current exhibition, “Nadar: Inventing Paris, from the Depths to the Sky”, runs from 29 September 2026 to 31 January 2027. If your visit falls inside those dates, check the official page for how the exhibition is accessed before you build the day around it.
If your slot is gone#
Keep the plan separate from the prediction. Re-check the official calendar rather than trusting a reseller that claims to see hidden stock, and read the official note verbatim: booking online is strongly recommended, except for free-rate tickets. If the day stays full, a different Paris outing keeps the itinerary intact — the Catacombs are one attraction, not the whole day.
Compare your options#
| Situation | What to check |
|---|---|
| Your date shows no times | Check the official booking calendar for your date and other times you could visit. Do not assume a later release or cancellation will become available. |
| Travelling with young children | Children 0–7 enter free and children 8–17 pay the reduced rate — confirm the age bands and the free-rate booking conditions on the official page. |
| Your dates are flexible | Open Tuesday to Sunday with last admission at 19:30; the site is closed on Mondays, so a one-day visit must avoid that day. |
| You want value from the visit | Check whether the Nadar exhibition is accessible on your ticket, and read the audio-guide inclusion before paying any operator for one. |
When do tickets for my date appear?
Check the current booking calendar through the official Catacombs website. A date that has no visible slots is not, by itself, evidence of a particular release time or a guaranteed later release.
Does the ticket include the audio guide?
Yes. The audio guide is included in the 2026 ticket prices for all paid rates.
What are the child prices?
Children 0–7 enter free, children 8–17 pay EUR 15, the reduced rate is EUR 25 and the full rate is EUR 31 — as published by the City of Paris for 2026.
Can I arrive without booking?
The official wording is that booking online is strongly recommended, except for free-rate tickets. Queues and slot availability on the day are not guaranteed by that exception.
